HALL OF FAME

The Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards Hall of Fame celebrates outstanding individuals from within the Fiji Tourism Industry. For the 2016 season the Trustees have reimaged the individual award categories to reflect the changing nature of the industry and to allow for broader acknowledgement of those who work towards excellence at all levels of the industry.

  • Fiji Pride Champion category aims to seek and recognise tourism professionals who demonstrate a passion and commitment for personal and product excellence. The category is open the non-executive management employees with more than 5 years’ experience in the sector and must be a Fiji citizen. Additionally the candidate is a person who exemplifies the Fiji Experience and is forever memorable in the memories of visitors to these magnificent islands
  • Emerging Tourism Leader category aims to seek and recognises tourism professionals under the age of 35, employed in the tourism industry. This category is open to non-executive management employees of Tourism service providers in the private sector, including, but not limited to, accommodation providers, hotels, resorts, airlines, tour operators, restaurants, etc. Applicant must be a Fiji citizen.
  • Tourism Leader category aims to seek and recognise tourism professionals who demonstrate outstanding contribution to Fiji tourism over many years. The category is open to Executive Management and owner operators of tourism service providers in the private sector. Unlike the other two individual categories applications were invited from not only Fiji citizens but also Fiji residents.
