ANZ renews as Naming Rights Sponsor for the 2023 Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards

ANZ today announced it has renewed its naming rights sponsorship of the Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards (FETA) for a further three years. FETA Chair Debra Sadranu said the continuing support of ANZ as naming rights sponsor is deeply appreciated by FETA’s Board of Trustees and will assist the team in preparing for the new season. “The 2022 season recorded the highest number of entries and superseded all previous award
submissions, which shows remarkable engagement amongst industry stakeholders”.

“We are delighted that ANZ is continuing their sponsorship with FETA, which is a reflection of their commitment to the award’s success, as well as to tourism in Fiji”. ANZ Fiji Country Head, Rabih Yazbek, said: “ANZ has been supporting this event for more than a decade now because we recognise the immense contribution the tourism industry makes in Fiji”.

“Tourism has a multiplier effect on growth across the economy, with a number of key industries, including wholesale and retail trade, transport, accommodation and food services dependent on inbound tourists”.
“Fiji is expected to record another year of strong growth in visitors, and behind this it is truly a team effort. ANZ is proud to be part of the team,” Mr Yazbek said.

Sadranu said that with the increase in event categories and the acknowledgment of Gold, Silver and Bronze winners at the 2022 gala dinner night – a first in FETA history – ANZ’s sponsorship for the next three years is timely. “Preparations for the 2023 season are already underway. With ANZ’s support, our team will continue to work towards a bigger and better event, to recognise outstanding individuals and
organisations in the tourism industry”.

The 2023 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards will be held early 2024.
